Welcome home.

“And when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it” - Pablo Coelho The Alchemist

When I found Tam Junction I had explored the world over, from town to town, city to city, country to country, without an address that lasted more than a year. It wasn’t because I had the time or the money to live such a life. It was my decision to join the United States Navy and serve as a Surface Warfare Officer. Join the Navy see the world is a factual statement. Your life and places to call home become as fluid as the water beneath the hull of my 500ft destroyer (that’s a type of Navy warship).

Oddly enough for many years I had thought of a place in my head that would fulfill all of my deepest desires. Many will attest to this idea of manifesting the things you want in your head and someday you’ll have them.

A place for belonging and community. Tacos and beer. Pizza and pirate ships. Skateboards and surfboards. Plants and people. Quiet streets and bustling bridges. Interestingly enough many things have arrived to Tam Junction in the last few years. But the evolution of our small geographic area has occurred over time, slowly and organically building into what exists today. There is history to be told, but not today. For now, be glad we have this place to call home.
